Dating back to 1709, this little burial ground on the banks of
the River Finn is truly a haven of peace. Down through the centuries,
hundreds of bodies have been buried here: Saints and sinners, rich
and poor, wise men and those not so wise. For them the strife is
over, and they are all together now, in the great companionship
of death. The silence and tranquility of so many named and nameless
graves seems to say:
