St Mary's Church, Stranorlar, one of the finest and
best appointed of its kind in Donegal, was opened and
blessed by the late Most Rev Dr Daniel McGettigan, Bishop
of Raphoe, in 1862.
The church is probably one of the best known landmarks
in the Finn Valley, and for the benefit of the many
visitors to the area, the parish priest, V Rev Kieran McAteer,
has asked that we include on the website times of Services
