St Connell's Museum & Heritage Centre, Glenties, Co. Donegal

The object of this centre is to preserve local historical information, as well as artifacts of interest. In pursuing this ideal, St Connell's Museum have amassed a huge collection of interesting memorabilia: photographs, documents, books, videos, etc.

St Connell's Museum provides a great variety of exhibitions relating to:

Old Time Glenties The Donegal Railways
Local Authors (past and present) The Famine and it's Effects
Early Christian Sites History of Local Clergy
Local Industries Prisoner Cells
Folk Kitchen and Bedroom A Blacksmith's Forge
A School Room A Guard's Room

Visitors may also view interesting videos about the locality and are assured a friendly, hospitable welcome to a place where they can step back in time and experience the atmosphere of a bygone age.

10am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm
Last admission 30 minutes before closing
